Keystone Resource Development is a mining & metals focused advisory business spanning technical, commercial and strategic aspects to add value for clients and their stakeholders

1. Strategy & Transactional Services

• Development and review of mineral exploration / project development strategies aligned with funding opportunities and constraints.
• Business plans for specialty materials - assessing the supply chain and the value points along it, technical, market and funding parameters.
• Technical - commercial negotiation support:
  • for Land Access and Mining agreements with Australian indigenous representative corporations; and
  • in corporate administration / insolvency situations to manage creditors and key stakeholders, develop and execute work-out or 'asset-realisation' programs.
• Expert witness work - as either 'clean' or 'dirty' to support legal disputes around mineral and mining related matters.
• Legal disputes - advisory / management support (not legal advice) to either avoid or pursue disputes e.g. international legal claims; provide corporates (claimants) the opportunity to 'delegate' this process whilst their management focuses on core business not managing lawyers and 'bottomless' data requests.

Keystone can provide clients with full level support or just 'sounding board' services or it can take prime leadership responsibility of specific tasks.

2. Assessment

Due diligence on exploration projects, proposed projects, or existing operations for acquisition, development or funding, including:

• technical due diligence ranging from 'one-pager' critical issues and opportunities analysis to detailed multidisciplinary assignments;
• Information Memorandum for divestment or financing;
• credit and risk focused reviews; and
• commercial reviews - 'reality checks' of funding structures, key contracts, bankability and offtake arrangements. 

"Bespoke due diligence" - Keystone will accommodate the level of detail required including major due diligence assignments by assembling an expert multi-disciplinary team appropriate to the client’s specific needs and technical operations. These experts have worked with Keystone previously and are well respected by their peers and investment and banking groups. This gives the client the flexibility to “plug-in” specific technical knowledge and experience rather than accept “whoever is available and idle” from within a larger consultancy firm.

Keystone can produce the output you require - concise bullet point summaries, Boardroom presentations or detailed due diligence reports for investors, lenders and Boards - "fit for purpose and audience".

3. Project & Business Development

Mining project and metals business development studies from scoping level studies to detailed, bankable studies, including:

• brief 'outline' studies of development or business proposals to quickly and concisely outline the project parameters and financial metrics to identify key technical and commercial issues and opportunities; and
• manage and contribute to multi-disciplinary project development studies from Scoping to Feasibility level studies, assembling the 'right' expert team suited to the project, respected by potential financiers on a cost-effective and timely basis.
